As we prepare to celebrate Mother’s day and Memorial Day, we sometimes forget how important May is in the world of sports.

And there are a whole lot of sports going on in the month of May!

To start with we are still wrapping up the end of the NHL playoffs.

The NBA is still working on their playoffs too and unfortunately for the Los Angeles Clippers they are already done having lost to the Utah Jazz. And once again the Los Angeles Lakers did not make the playoffs.

The teams that are still in the running are Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards, the Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Toronto Raptors.

Soccer is in the middle of its season with several matches being played all over the world, it is just hard to find the games on TV.

It was great listening to him once again tell his stories of past achievements by Dodger players. His speech ended with his informing the crowd that it “Time for Dodger Baseball”. A phase that has been sorely missed this past season by dodger fans.

The month of May is also when voting for your favorite baseball player for the annual “All Star game’ which is played in July opens up. Don’t forget to vote.

As I mentioned May is a very important month in sports and us sports fans we just need to sit back and enjoy.
